It’s Sunday again…

Posted: August 26, 2012 in Rus Mod

As advertised, a new version of Fatal Years 1.07 has been released and may be downloaded from the box to your right.

This version delivers a new picture for Bonch-Bruevich option ( Thanks Wargamer!), some improvements and fixes suggested by Mike, Berto and Baris. It adds some adjustments for balance, nothing major, excepted Red will get back NM when they retake Kazan, Perm, Simbirsk and Saratov.

This version is fully compatible with ongoing games.
Fatal Years is yet in beta but the reports show it’s now a stable version , playable until the end, with very few bugs remaining. Much of the future work will now concentrate on balance and addition of a few features.

The next version should be ready next Sunday. This one will possibly give 2 capitals to the Siberian at start ( Omsk and Samara). I’ve yet to test this new feature.
As a side note, I want to thank all people who have downloaded day after day the new FY versions. It was a bet to deliver a daily new version, implying daily installation hassle, and I’m surprised to note the number of FY download is yet growing. This support has been of great help in the worst excel and notepad moments 🙂

    Thanks,
As playing reds, Muraviev revolt was succesfull. Simbirsky and Kazan become Siberian also with Gai Khan. But Muraviev and his stack didn’t. He teleported with Trotsky to Moscow to suppress Popov SR revolt as Red faction. I uploaded the save file and backup.

The move command lacks flexibility and teleport the whole stack, a feature either undocumented or overlooked by me. The new solution should be safer. If not, think again about Muraviev wife 😉
