New version of FY available

No new features in this one, just a large bunch of fixes thanks to Agelint program.


Compatible with game begun with the last version.

    not sure where to ask this. The national comparison chart in the objectives tag. Is it possible to control which 4 factions you are viewing?
    I am the Reds and really want to know what the Ukrainian morale is so to decide whether to recruit their prisoners. Unfortunately ukraine has been bumped of the national comparison list by France.
    Seems pretty stupid you can’t look at any factions statistics.

      Sorry for this one, But I’ve no clue about a possible way to control the info in the objectives page of the ledger.

      What I could do is creating events giving an idea about morale of the Ukrainians ( ie under 80, between 80 and 100, above 100 for example).

        ok next question, in our pbm the Poles have taken Minsk without declaring war, how does that work?

        I rather suspect Poles have declared war, but for some reason you haven’t been noticedof this little event :-). In the RUS/Scripts folder, there’s a file named Scriptreports. Send me it, I will answer you. And incidently, I will find what event hasn’t delivered the message to fix that .

        If the Poles have declared war how come I still have the option in Diplomacy to declare war on them?

        BTW, I’ve found why you have yet the option active. But I need yet the scriptreport file to check this lack of notification I don’t understand.

        Ok, I’ve looked at the save game. Poland has declared war, but the message wasn’t notified. I hope it will work now.After applying the new version, the option for Reds should disappear after one turn.

        Clovis, just saw the Bashkir autonomy option, only problem is there is no information on what the costs or benefits are?

        Of course, I have forgotten to add the strings . Thanks. Next version. It costs 5 EPs, and hinder the Bashkir Green revolt possibility for later. However, a smaller chance of Green revolt, by the Russian peasants, in the same area, becomes active when you play this option. Your choice 🙂

        It would be really helpful having that Ukrainian morale data, as it is I am playing blind 😦

        3 points;
        1. Installed latest upgrade and ukrainian fix, can’t see any difference?
        2. Also my option to declare war on Poland is still there. I imagine these two points are because we are in an existing game?
        3. I just did a stupid move and lost the Baltic fleet bombarding Tallinn. I think there should be NM penalties for the red player for such an action. Fleets were the prestige currency of nations in this period and capital ship losses had major effects on NM, eg-Russo-Japanses war contributing to the 1905 revolution. In the same category if GB or French lose capital ships that perhaps should also trigger withdrawels?
        What do you think?

        1) The evnts are working in my game, after one more turn. The meesage box has a line about Ukrainian morale

        3) Interesting idea. I’ve raised the VP cost of fleets yet. Now, this new lossses suggested would be human only, as the AI is subpar on sea…

        Happy to say I can now see the Ukrainian notice in the log morale between 40-100. Since NM90 is the key for Red recruiting of other factions shouldn’t the morale bracket centre around NM90?

    You’re right. Next version.

    BTW, about your interesting proposal about navies and NM linkage, I’m unfortunately forced to say no, because I would have to write at least one event per capital ship, considering how is working the script engine. And FY has almost reached IMHO a critical number of events, to the risk of lenghtening too much turn resolution. I will just up number of VPs lost by Capital ships.
